Fred She Said Poinsettia

I have what I think is a really pretty card today:)  I used the Fred She Said Pointy Poinsettia a week or so ago and I thought it was beautiful!  I decided to make another one that looks different.  I didn’t us a sketch, just the Paper Pricking Pattern, also from FSS. Here’s my card, you can click on it to make it larger:

I used Stampin’ Up! Riding Hood Red for the back layer.  On top of that SU Garden Green, then white cardstock that I pricked with the FSS pattern.  I pricked the pattern and then flipped over the paper and used the back side, I love the way it looks:)  I actually merged the leaf and bottom flower layer in my Print Shop program.  The top flower layer is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals from Stampin’ Up!.  I also used Basic Gemstones from SU.  The center of the flower is something from my stash of Christmas items from different craft stores.

I don’t think I take bad photos, but I know this card looks much better in person than in this photo;) !  The flower is a pre-colored digital image, and the colors are beautiful!

Check out the Fred She Said store, also Tracey’s blog where you can sign up for the newsletter.  The newsletter has info regarding contests, new images and sometimes freebies:)

Thanks for coming by today:)  See you again soon:)

What a fun card this was to make! Freshly Made had another “easy” sketch this week.  Sometimes the easy ones are just as hard as the complicated ones, but this week I knew just what I wanted to do!  Here is this weeks sketch:
This card was pretty simple, I’m sure you could do it! 🙂  Here is the card I made, you can click on it to make it larger:
I used all Stampin’ Up! products except the center of the flower, and Tracey’s beautiful Poinsettia.  This flower is just gorgeous!  It doesn’t look to fancy when you pull up the file, but once you have it printed off, you can really see the beautiful colors.  Of course, its by Fred She Said and it’s called Pointy Poinsettia Flowers. If you scroll down a little in the store, you’ll find a cutfile version in B&W ready for you to color yourself! 🙂
Be sure to check out the rest of the Fred She Said links and look at what everyone else has made for you to see!  Also check out the Freshly Made blog!
Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I hope you have a great weekend, and good luck on the Blog Hop!!! 🙂

Freshly Made #60

I just can’t stop making Christmas cards!  I have two more for you today:)  First I have a card for Freshly Made #60.  Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my card, clean and simple, you can click on it to make it larger:

The hardest part for me is always picking papers!  For this card it might seem obvious, but I actually tried a different green and rejected it.  I used Stampin’ Up! Garden Green and Elegant Eggplant:)  I used a Memory Box die for the snowflakes, with some gems for accents.

The main image is from Fred She Said simply called Christmas Wreath. It comes in several different colors and also B&W if you like to color yourself;)  That is pretty much it for  this one.  I told you, it would be clean and simple:)

If you have a printer, you can make a card today! 🙂 Here is my second card:

This is a really simple card as well:)  The main image is the same set as above, Christmas Wreath, by Fred She Said. The red paper is also Fred She Said, Christmas Papers 1-2009. These are digital images and papers, you can purchase them, download them and then print them out to make a card,  all in about an hour, start to finish! 🙂  Oh, I forgot, the wreath set comes with several sentiments:)

Fred She Said has a Blog Hop coming up next week!  You could win credits toward her store and get free images!!  If you sign up for the FSS newsletter, you will get updates on contests, new digital images and sometimes freebies!!  There are new images in the store right now, so go have a look! 🙂

Thanks for coming by today!  I’ll be back again soon! 🙂

FSS Kiss Me Scottie

No challenge today, I made a card just because I love Fred She Said! 🙂  Sign up for the newsletter and get info on new products, contests, and card samples! 🙂  This card is made with one of my favorite new digitals, Kiss Me Scottie.  You can click the image to make it larger:)

Isn’t he just too cute?!  I love this little Scottie! The blue snow background paper was a freebie from FSS, I believe you can still get it here. I used a sizzix embossing folder, ribbon and a ribbon slide from Stampin’ Up! and a sentiment stamp from SU from the set called Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Pretty simple:)

I know Tracey will be coming out with some new images for Christmas, so be sure to keep an eye on her blog and her store! 🙂

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  See you soon!
