I wanted to be sure and tell you about the Fred She Said Party over on the FSS blog! 🙂  Be sure to check it out for some great giveaways!

Now I have three cards to share! 🙂  I’ve already entered one at Merry Monday #88, but I think I can enter one more:) I’ve given all the cards away, so I will have to post details as I remember them.

Here’s their challenge:

MM New Look Sketches-021Here’s my first card:

Poster3This is a very simple card, but I love it!  I know my DIL checks out my blog now and then, so I have to ask her to not tell Matthew this is his card;)  I got the background from Raspberry Road Designs.  It’s called Blue Christmas Paper Set.  There are other Blue Christmas sets to match, including a freebie:)  Right now they are having a 50% off sale, so hurry over there!

Anyway……I picked out the paper and thought about what I would do next.  I flipped the image, and knew the deer would be perfect!  The deer are a Memory Box die called Deer Trio.  I cut them apart and placed them in the “snow”, I glued them down with sticky dots, not pop ups.  Then I looked at it a few days and thought about what I wanted to add.  I decided I didn’t want to add anything;)  It’s clean and simple, and I love it, I hope my grandson will too! 🙂

My next two cards are alike in that they use a technique called Starburst , I found the technique instructions here.  My next card:

Half-fold Card2I just couldn’t get the colors right for this photo, at least not to my satisfaction;)  But the card is gone so I had to do the best I could to present it.  The papers are from imaginisce, the series was called Polar Expressions.  I had a number of the papers and some chipboard stickers.  The bear is a chipboard sticker that is popped up with Stamin’ Up!,  Stampin’ Dimentionals.  I bought it several years ago, but I still love it! 🙂  I used the fronts and the backs of the papers to make my Starburst.

Last card for tonight:

Half-fold Card1Now the colors in this photo look awesome and I don’t know why, I took the photos one after the other.  This card uses a chipboard sticker from the previous pack of stickers, but the paper is something I found on ESTY.  I am so sorry to say I don’t remember where on ESTY:(  It was listed as Christmas paper, but it looked a little Spring like to me.  Finding Cardinal papers was almost impossible!  I do love how it turned out though! 🙂 I attached the Cardinal with glue dots.

Well, I’m off to get more done.  The grandkids will be home from school for two weeks, so I have to use my time wisely…..if that’s possible;) lol

Thanks for coming by today, I hope you’ll come again! 🙂  Be sure to check out all my links for special deals! 🙂

In case I don’t get back, please have a safe, peaceful, and very Merry Christmas!!!! 🙂

Fred She Said, Merry Monday #88, Friday Mashup #139 & Send A Smile 4 Kids

OMGoodness, I have a lot to share today!  I have three cards! 🙂  All of my images today are Fred She Said, they are having a contest with prizes!

Fred She Said is having a Christmas Party Giveaway! From Wednesday Dec. 18 until Monday Dec. 23 Midnight EST.

Come see the Fred She Said DT’s fabulous projects 🙂  Please leave a comment at the Fred She Said Blog for a chance to win one of 3 $10 Fred She Said gift certificates or post a link to a recent Christmas or Winter project  using Fred She Said products for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate 🙂

Also at the Fred She Said Facebook Page there will be an extra $10 gift certificate to giveaway.  All you have to do there is post a recipe ( or link to a recipe) of your favourite holiday recipe or treat 🙂  All details are at the Fred She Said Blog!  Check it out!! 🙂

This first card was supposed to go to Freshly Made Sketches #116.  I was too late to enter:(  So….since it fits with the theme of the Friday Mashup #139, I’m going to enter it there! 🙂

Fm139Here’s your Mashup Challenge:
Create a “Winter themed project (Non Christmas).”
Create a project using “Embossing (Dry or Heat). ”
Or Mash it Up and create a “Winter Project using Embossing.”

Half-fold Card2The image is from the Fred She Said store called Emma & the Snowball.  Isn’t she just too cute! ? I used some new paper from Stampin’ Up! called Winter Frost.  I love it!  It has two sheets with Silver accents.  I used one of the silver here, it’s kind of hard to see how shiny and beautiful it is:(  But trust me, it’s gorgeous! 🙂

Now, my next two cards use the same image from Fred She Said, but I made them up two different ways;)  One of them will be entered into Merry Monday #88 this week.

MM New Look Sketches-021

Here’s the first one

Half-fold Card3And now the second one

Half-fold Card1I love this image from Fred She Said called, Catchin’ Flakes! 🙂  All of these cards will be going into the box for Send A Smile 4 Kids!

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I hope to be back at least one more time before Christmas, but just in case that doesn’t work out, I’m wishing you all a very  Merry Christmas!! 🙂

Merry Monday #87, Doodle Pantry Dec. 2013 & SAS4 Kids

Wow, it’s been a long time!  Sorry for the lack of cards:(  I have actually been making cards for projects that I can’t show on my blog yet, but will be coming up soon;)

For today, I have two cards for challenges, but they will both be going into the box for Send A Smile 4 Kids🙂  My first card is for Merry Monday #87.  They have a challenge this week with mittens:)  MM New Look Sketches-020Because it’s very late here……. again, I will be adding very few details.  You can always ask for any info I don’t supply:)  So here is my first card:

Half-fold Card1The main image is from Fred She Said, Emma & the Snowball.  I have been having tons of fun with this image!  She comes ready to color or in three different colors.  This is only the first one you will see;)

My next card is for the challenge over at Doodle Pantry #41.The challenge is for the entire month of Dec., so you still have plenty of time to join in:)

Half-fold Card2Isn’t this so cute! ?  I actually requested a Winter Birthday theme from Laurie over at Doodle Pantry and I was lucky enough to have my wish granted:)

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I hope to be back very soon!  There is something special going on over at Fred She Said this coming week so watch for it! 🙂
