Merry Monday #184, Freshly Made #217 & guests

I was sick, and down for a while, but now I’m better and playing catch-up! 🙂  I have lots to show you tonight, so lets get started! 🙂  First I have a card that I made and I will submit it to two different challenges.  Merry Monday #184 and Freshly Made #217.

Merry Monday’s theme is baking:

184Freshly Made Sketches, has a sketch;)

FMS Final 217-001My card stayed pretty much to the sketch, which is what I normally do;)

UPDATE:  My card has the honor of wining the Merry Monday #184 challenge! 🙂

Winner Badge

For this card I used a digital image from Raspberry Road Designs, from the Christmas Cookies collectionI also used one of the papers from the paper pack that goes with this collection.  I used Stampin’ Up! Real Red, and either Wild Wasabi or Pear Pizzazz for the words.  I cut the words with a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, and the middle rectangle, I cut with Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangles.  I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop-up my sentiment:)

I’m pretty pleased that I was able to pull a card of any kind together in the last couple days, so I hope you like it:)

I have 5 guests today!  I will be showing only a few cards from each guest, and then I’m done showing Christmas cards for this year!  So hold on tight, here we go! 🙂

My first guest is Lee Mae Elkins:)  This is the second time Lee Mae has sent cards to me, personally, for my hospitals:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERALee Mae sent a nice selection of cards:)  I have to admit, it was really hard to pick just a few from each guest.  I picked these because I thought they were all so much fun! 🙂  Kids love animals of just about any kind and dress them up for Christmas and it’s all the better! 🙂  Thank you Lee Mae for sending such wonderful cards for our kids! 🙂

Next is Kayla Ford from IL, not too far from where I live:)  Kayla is a repeat sender:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAAll of Kayla’s cards are bright and cheerful, with lots of colors and patterns! 🙂  Kayla’s cards remind me of quilts:)  Thank you so much Kayla for thinking of our kids again to cheer them for Christmas! 🙂

My next guest has sent in a number of times before, Andrea La Vigne from TX:)  Andrea has her own blog that you can check out to see how she makes her cards:)  Pop over to see her blog Andrea’s Antics, here🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAAren’t these all cute! ?  Andrea does wonderful coloring and water coloring! 🙂 I know the Reindeer is from one of our sponsors at SAS4Kids, but I’m sorry, I don’t know which one:(  Maybe someone could fill us in on that?  I love how Andrea positioned him on her card! 🙂  Great cards Andrea, thank you for being a repeat sender, I know the kids love your cards! 🙂

Holly Blaskie from MI, is my next guest:)  Holly is also a repeat sender:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAHolly used some really cute cats this time, and some really pretty silver accents:)  The tall card next to the kitty has the silver, but it looks kind of black:(  Holly sent in 75 cards this time, it was hard to pick just 4!  Thank you Holly for your continued support of our kids, they will really love these cards! 🙂

My last Christmas cards for this year were sent in by Geri Dean and her sister Melanie Carruth of MN:)  Geri and her sister sent in an amazing 151 cards! 🙂  I know everyone can’t send in that many, and I assure you, every card counts toward a box for a hospital!  Don’t ever feel rushed or that you have to do as many as someone else!  I don’t care if you send 5 cards, you are making a difference in a child’s life! 🙂  Every card made and sent, is a happy smile in an envelope to a child! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERANow aren’t these fun! 🙂  The first cards are made with Lawn Fawn, I have those little birds! 🙂  I’ve made some of these little penguins, and Geri has these wonderful horse stamps that she uses a lot:)  Here she’s added Christmas paper and a sentiment to really dress it up!

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAOk, there were a lot of cards, I really had a hard time narrowing it down!  I love the soft, cute animals in the first set, and the last card is genius! 🙂  The tree card had the background paper and sentiment added, and then included is a set of stickers that a child can decorate themselves!  I’ve never seen this, what a great idea! 🙂  They can put on the tree and the little ornaments any way they want to, what fun! 🙂  I took off the paper clips and put the cards and stickers into a clear envelope along with a regular envelope.  Geri and Melanie always send in great cards, thank you ladies for working so hard to made Christmas a wonderful time of the year! 🙂

I want to thank every single card maker who spent time making cards to bring a smile to the faces of our kids here at Send A Smile 4 Kids! 🙂  Without all of you, we would not be able to do what we, the volunteers, do! 🙂  The world is a crazy place, I believe we, cardmakers and volunteers,  are doing an important job, that affects lots of kids all over the USA!  I am so proud to share your talents and pieces of art with our kids!:)

I thank you all for your help making Christmas brighter for so many! 🙂

I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! 🙂  I hope to continue working with you through the next year! 🙂

Merry Monday #179 & SAS4Kids

I have a really short post today, I do have some more guest cards to share, but not a lot.  I still need more Christmas cards:)

For today, I have one card that I made myself, and I’m going to enter it in several different challenges:)  I will post a link to all of them, you can join the fun too! 🙂  First, I would like to enter into the challenge over at Merry Monday #179.  Here is their challenge:

179Ok, I’m going to give you a minute to think about that;)  Pink, White & Green…..ready?

aaSDC18225I got the idea for this card over a year ago, from, I believe, a DT member at Doodle Pantry.  Anyway, her name is Pat Dadisman.  She made a card with this Flamingo that looked different, but the idea is the same.  I’m going to make a separate list below with everything I used on this card, because the list is kind of long.  The main image, the Flamingo is from Doodle Pantry, and is actually called, Fancy Flamingo.  You can click on the image name and the link will take you to see this image and the card made by Pat:)

I will also enter this at the Send A Smile 4 Kids challenge, and over at Doodle Pantry where they have the ANTS IN MY PANTRY DIGITAL CHALLENGE 11.  Doodle Pantry is one of the sponsors of the current challenge at SAS4Kids.

Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂  I will put my supply list below my name, let me know if you have any questions! 🙂  I hope to see you again soon with more Christmas inspiration! 🙂

Freshly Made Sketches #210 Simply Made

I have a really simple card today, although it take me longer than I thought it would;)  I tend to start with one idea and then change it a couple times before deciding on my final layout:)  Today, there is a really good reason for a simple card, you can read about it here at Send A Smile 4 Kids.  I’ve had a request from one of my hospitals for cards with NO embellishments!  I know, seriously!  I always try my best to fulfill requests, so I thought the Freshly Made Sketch #210 was a really good place to start! 🙂 Here’s their sketch:

FMS Final 210-001Looks pretty simple, right?  Well, my card is pretty simple too:)

aSDC18093This may not be the most simple card I’ve ever made, but it must be pretty close!  There are no embellishments on this card!  The sentiment and the branch are both rubber stamped.  The birds are rubber stamped and then colored with my Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities (discontinued).  The stamp set is from Lawn Fawn, Winter Sparrows, as well as the dies.  Please stare at my wonderful coloring, since you know I hardly ever color! lol

I’ve chosen a guest who has done a wonderful job showing off her cards with no embellishments!  This is only the second box of cards I’ve received from Ruby Haugen of MN.  Ruby has done a really good job and I welcome her to my blog:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAAll of Ruby’s cards have really cute, kid friendly, images! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAI believe Ruby used mostly colored pencils to color her images:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERARuby has used some wonderful papers and colors! 🙂  She’s also layered her papers and images so they are almost flat! All of her embellishments are paper!  There is nothing on these cards that can be pulled off that isn’t safe for children who may put things in their mouths! 🙂

Thank you Ruby for your wonderful cards, I know the kids will love these cards with fun colors and great images! 🙂

Over on the SAS4Kids challenge blog there’s still one week left to enter cards for the Celebration Cards 4 Kids card challenge!  On November 7th we will be starting Happy Holidays 4 Kids!  Enter our challenge or just check out what others have made! 🙂

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I appreciate your support! 🙂  Come again soon for more cards! 🙂

The Paper Players #265 & Halloween guests for SAS4Kids

Okay, we’re winding down on the Halloween cards, but not tonight!  Tonight, I have three guests with cards for Send A Smile 4 Kids! 🙂  First, my card for the challenge over at the Paper Players #265🙂  It’s a Halloween challenge! 🙂

pp265pumpkinThere were no guidelines, except to make a Halloween card.  I chose to make a Stampin’ Up! circle thinlits card.  I’ve been thinking about making this type of card for a few weeks.  Then some came in for SAS4Kids, and I knew I had to put one together! 🙂  I even used one of the same papers:)

The card base is Stampin’ Up! Tangerine Tango, and I used Motley Monsters DSP from last year for the right side.  The cute puppy and the moon are from Lawn Fawn, they come with matching dies.  The candy corn on the left I bought at Michaels at least a year ago, it’s all sparkly:)  My granddaughter approved this card, as a matter of fact, she wants to keep it! 🙂  I guess I’ll have to make at least one more! 😉

Now on to our guests!  My first guest is a repeat sender, Nancy Simmons, from FL:)  Nancy makes great cards and usually uses a lot of ribbon.  Today she has used Bakers Twine.  I’m only showing some of her cards.  She made a few designs but changed up the papers and sent multiples! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAThis is how I display them in my log book.  I keep track of everything! 🙂  There are even more than this, but here are some close-ups:)

Nancy is another one of my cardmakers who is a wiz at changing papers around to make cards look different!  I’m not good at this, it takes me forever just to pick out one paper! lol

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAAren’t these great?!  I know Nancy uses Stampin’ Up! products a lot of the time! 🙂  I love all these cards, they’re fun and definitely not-too-scary! Thank you Nancy for the great cards! 🙂

Next I have Tammy Gullett from IA:)  Tammy is also a repeat sender!  I love all my cardmakers, I have a great group! 🙂 Tammy also sent some great cards! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAWhat fun cards, I know the kids won’t be afraid of these! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAThis a great Frankie card!  I’m sorry my photo is a little blurry, but I couldn’t take a new photo:(  All these cards have been packed in boxes and are ready to be mailed out this week:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAHere is Tammy’s card that gave me the idea to use the Stampin’ Up! DSP.  Tammy used a similar technique, but I can’t tell if she used the die I used.  These are all wonderful cards to share with our kids, Thank you Tammy for sending them in! 🙂

My last guest today is Andrea La Vigne from TX:)  Andrea has her own blog 🙂  Please visit Andrea’s Paper Antics for more details on her cards:)  I’ve linked the page for this card, because it’s awesome, but she has plenty of other cards that are great as well! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAThis is an awesome shaped card with sequins inside! 🙂  The kids are going to be jealous of whoever gets this one! lol  Andrea tells how she made it on her blog, so be sure to check it out! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAI love the papers Andrea uses, and her layouts are great too! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAI love these 4 cards!  They are such gentle Halloween cards!  I know any age would appreciate these cards! 🙂

Thank you Andrea for sharing your talents with us and the kids! 🙂  Andrea is also a repeat sender:)

I don’t think I can thank my cardmakers enough for all they do for the kids at Send A Smile 4 Kids! 🙂  Check out the SAS4Kids challenge blog to see what other cardmakers are sending in for our hospitals! 🙂

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I appreciate everyone who visits my blog too! 🙂 I hope you can come back again soon! 🙂

The Paper Players & SAS4Kids guest

It’s a beautiful Fall day here today, perfect for the card I’ve made! 🙂  I’m going to enter a new card challenge for me over at the Paper Players PP263.  I think I’ve entered there before, but it must have been a long time ago.  The challenge there is to create a Fall scene.

pp263My card almost looks like sketch card of this scene, I didn’t realize it until I just set my card by my computer just now:)  So here it is:

SDC17743I found this awesome paper that had leaves all over it and it made me think of leaves falling on the ground.  I found several different examples on Pinterest and finally decided on this layout.  I used Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather for the tree and leaves.  For the pumpkins, I used So Thankful. I made the hills with Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders.  The yellow paper and the leaf paper were just misc. papers from my stash, and I used Stampin’ Up! Soft Sky for the background.

I decided not to put a sentiment on, because I will be sending it to Send A Smile 4 Kids and with no sentiment, it can be used for any occasion:)  Be sure to go check out the challenge blog over at SAS4Kids for more card ideas! 🙂

Now I’d like to share some cards from one of my repeat card senders, Jill Blasche from TX.  Jill has been sending me cards since I started volunteering for SAS4Kids.  She sent one of my very first boxes! 🙂  Jill does a wide variety of cards, but will also send multiples:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERALook at these great Fall colors, and they’re all so different! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERALook at these icky spiders!  Just changing the colors makes them look so different! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAWhy do kids love spiders for Halloween?!!!  Yuk! lol  Jill really knows her spider cards! lol

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERALook at all these cards with the same black and orange striped paper.  They all look so different!  I could send all these cards to the same hospital unit, yet everyone would have a different card! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAThe pumpkin paper here is the same as the card above, but doesn’t look anywhere near the same!  Also, look at the black card on the far right, it has the orange and black stripe!  Jill does an incredible job mixing her papers! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERALast cards, but this is two boxes of cards!  Jill sent me a box that was lost in the mail! 😦  Every cardmakers worst nightmare! 😦  She sent me a replacement box of cards, and then, of course, the first box was found! 🙂  So I got two awesome boxes of cards! 🙂  I believe I’m set for older kids for Halloween, now I can use some little kid cards for Halloween! 🙂  Thank you Jill, for all your wonderful cards, I know the kids will love them! 🙂

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I hope everyone is enjoying the Fall and Halloween cards! 🙂  Hope to see you again soon! 🙂

A card by me…..no laughing! Plus SAS4Kids guest

Ok, laughing will be allowed, only to yourself! 🙂  You all may know that I sell Stampin’ Up!, I love Stampin’ Up!, but I have found these cute little critters by Lawn Fawn! 🙂  First off, if you haven’t been here before, I don’t color!  At least not often, I just don’t do it well, which you will see in just one minute! lol  Ok, I can laugh! 😉

I made this card, my first card using Lawn Fawn stamps!  It’s not for a challenge, it’s for one of my granddaughters:)  I’ll be sending her some cut out images she can color, I’m sure much better than me, but it’s the thought that counts, right?  So cut me a little slack, here’s my card:)

aSDC17609First off, I have to admit that it didn’t come out the way I planned.  The birthday is in the wrong place, and there was an ink smudge on the lower right that I had to cover up:(  I did use two colors on the tree and the Platypus;)  Ok, I know it’s not great, but maybe passable?  She has always loved the Platypus, and I think it’s cute with the hat:)  I don’t have the birthday cake or the balloon sets:(  I managed with what I have on hand.  I did use a Stampin’ Up! sentiment and I actually colored with the Stampin’ Up! Blendabilities:)  Sadly you can’t get them anymore, there was a production quality issue:(

I spent a lot of time coloring the tree and Platypus, so I wasn’t going to give up on this card no matter what!  I guess I could have cut them out with the dies, but I wanted to try it this way.  I did cut out the little hat by hand! 😉 lol  Hopefully, I will get better at this! 🙂

Now on to some cards made by my guests! 🙂  My first guest is Kayla Ford from my home state of IL:)  Kayla sent in a box of 37 Halloween cards for sharing with Send A Smile 4 Kids! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAAll 4 of these cards with the same image, and yet they all look very different! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAThese are completely different! 🙂  I love the fun colors, these will be good for even young ones:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAMaybe the scary house for some tweens, but the three others are great for younger kids! 🙂  Thank you Kala for these wonderful cards for our kids! 🙂

Today, I have a second guest, she is a repeat sender, Vicki Luebke from IN:)  Vicki has sent cards quite a few times, I always enjoy her cards! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAHere are some not-too-scary cards for the older kids:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAHere are some great for any age! 🙂  Vicki uses great papers and colors! 🙂

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERASAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERALook at these great Fall cards! 🙂  Thank you Vicki for sending all these great cards for kids!  All the cards today from my guests are going to Send A Smile 4 Kids!   I will entering one of these cards into the SAS4K Challenge, go over and take a look, you can enter too! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂  I love to hear your comments, try not to laugh too hard! 😉  I’ll be back again with more Fall & Halloween cards! 🙂  Let me know if you’ve seen enough, I have plenty of general cards to share as well! 🙂

Blog Candy & Merry Monday #157

Happy Birthday to me Blog Candy!

My birthday is in May, two of my grandsons have birthdays in May, and my husband’s birthday is in May.  What a great month!!:)

So here’s what I’m thinking…..throughout the entire month of May, you can make a comment on my blog, this will get you one chance to win.:)

You can send me a card for a “child” 1 year to 19 years, that will  get you two chances to win:)

If you make a comment during May, and send at least one card, you will have three chances to win! 🙂

If you’ve been following me for the last couple of months, you know I am doing volunteer work for Send A Smile 4 Kids, you can find my address and info here.   This is a wonderful group of people who make, collect, and donate handmade cards to children’s hospitals:)  Any and all cards sent to me will be donated to The Children’s Hospital of Illinois:)

What kind of Blog Candy do I have, you might ask.  I have 4 items that I will send out.  You will be able to let me know what your wish list is by numbering the letters 1-4.  One being what you would like the most, but this is not a guarantee.   These items have not been donated, all these items are from my own personal stash of craft items and are unused!  So here’s my list of Candy:)

A-From Stampin’ Up, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  I love this folder! 🙂

B-From Stampin’ Up, Tagtastic, cling mount stamp set.

Samples were part of the catalog display, not included.

C-From Stampin’ Up, You Brighten My Day, cling mount stamp set.

D- From me, die cut outs.

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAI cut these out myself and took a photo, all are included.  I have cats in black, top center and white so you can color yourself.  Kittens, in white, below the cats, and black.  I have puppies, in Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip and white.  There are two guitars one in silver and one in black.  Bottom left is a boy on a sled in black.  I love all of these cut outs, so I thought someone else might like them too:)

So, now, I’m hoping you’re wondering what kind of card to send;)  Here are the SAS4Kids suggestions. You could send birthday, thank you, thinking of you, sending prayers, thoughts & prayers, have a great day, encouragement, no sentiment with a cheerful image, Father’s Day is in June, so that would be fine as well.  Please no Get Well, some of these children will not get well:(  We would like to concentrate on cheerful cards:)

I will announce the winners by June 15th, so please follow me so you will be notified of the winners:)  Also, if you send cards, make sure you include your email address and I will be able to notify you personally:)

This is going to be a quick post today.  Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!! 🙂

I wanted to show you a card I made for Merry Monday #157:) Their challenge this week is to use embossing.

Well, of course, an embossed Christmas card! 😉  My card will be added to the Christmas box for Send A Smile 4 Kids🙂  You can’t start too early for Christmas! 🙂

It looks easy, right?  Well, it was pretty easy, but I used a bunch of supplies and it had lots of steps, I was surprised, but I love it! 🙂  I used an embossing folder by Darice, I don’t know the name, but it’s snowflakes;)  I used all paper by Stampin’ Up!  The background and highlight paper is Soft Sky.  The Designer Series Paper is called All Is Calm, it’s from last Christmas, but I love it so much, I bought a bunch of it! It’s on sale right now at Stampin’ Up!  I used the DSP for the left side column and the scarf.  The hat is just Pear Pizzazz, cut with a die from Lawn Fawn.

The whole snowman set if from Lawn Fawn, it’s called Making Frosty Friends.   The hat is cut with a die, I drew the line on the hat with a Stampin’ Up! Basic Black marker.  I cut some white to match the hat and made the puffy hat ball, and highlighted it with Stampin’ Up! Dazzling Details.  I don’t think you can see the sparkle very well here:(  The scarf on the bird is a SU marker in Pear Pizzazz.

For the sentiment I used Short & Sweet, retired.  It fit perfectly with the Framelits-Bitty Banners, retiring this year.  To highlight it, I just fussy cut a border with Lost Lagoon.  Wow, next time I’m just making a supply list! 😉 lol

I think I’ll make more of these for the kids at Send A Smile 4 Kids! 🙂  I can use all kinds of different colors for boys or girls:)

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  Be sure to check out the Blog Candy info!  Also go by Send A Smile 4 Kids and check out their blog! 🙂  Merry Monday #157 is ending today (May 10th) , but there will be a new challenge tommorow (May 11th).  I’ll be back soon with Father’s Day cards! 🙂

Happy Mother’s Day at SAS4Kids

Mother’s Day is coming next month! 🙂  I finally made some cards that I’ve been seeing everywhere!  I love these cards and I think they’re great for Mother’s Day:) So I’m going to get right to it.  I made all these cards myself:)  I’m going to enter one into the challenge over at Send A Smile 4 Kids, take a look:)

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERAThis is what the paper looked like before I cut it up.  It’s a sheet from Stampin’ Up! called Painted Blooms.  The other side is beautiful too! 🙂

I did the top row first. I used Soft Sky for the words and background.  I felt the words came out too light.  One the second card, I also used Soft Sky for the background, but Blushing Bride for the sentiment background.  I used Rose Red for the rest of the sentiments because I liked the way it looked;)  The third card, I used Crushed Curry, even though that wasn’t one of the colors listed for the paper package.  I thought it went better with the flower centers.

On this row, I used Blackberry Bliss, Soft Sky and Rose Red for the backgrounds.  The center one has a little butterfly cut from the reverse side.  The card on the right has Dazzling Delights added to the purple flowers.  I couldn’t find any SU sentiments that I liked so I used a Mother’s Day stamp from Recollections, the Michaels brand.

There’s no shipping charges on any Stampin’ Up! order this week until Friday, April 10th! 🙂  Let me know if you would like to order anything:)

Here are some Birthday cards I made:)

abSDC15181For this one, I used some paper out of a stack by Prima, called Firefly, I think it’s retired, but still beautiful:)  This is one of the more plain papers, my granddaughter picked it out:)  I cut it with a Memory Box die, Grand Happy Birthday.  I added a little bow in Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Delight.  The bird I got from Dozens Of Paper Cuts on Etsy.  I ordered two sets and I requested Stampin’ Up! Brights and Subtles.  Sue does a great job! 🙂

abSDC15201Another bird from Dozens Of Paper Cuts. I used the same Memory Box Die as above.  I stamped the birthday hat from a SU set that I just can’t remember right now:(  I cut out the hat part and then cut a small circle with a Stampin’ Up! hand punch, I think the 1/16th.  The paper is Night of Navy, and the DSP is from the current Occasions catalog, it’s called Birthday Bash Specialty because it has some embossed gold foil.  I printed mine with My Digital Studio.  I’m going to use the “real” paper next time to get the gold embossing:)

abSDC15203Again I used Designer Series Paper, Birthday Bash Specialty, and Night of Navy. I used the same Memory Box Die.  The little dragon is from Lawn Fawn, called Critters Ever After.  It has a matching die set.  The balloons I cut out of SU cardstock, Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, and I think Old Olive, but I could be wrong about the green.  I colored the dragon with my Stampabilities markers.  I drew the balloon strings with my SU white pen.  I did use My Digital Studio to print my Birthday Bash paper, so it doesn’t have any gold in it:(  I like it, but I will use my paper package next time:)

I forgot to post some of my own Easter cards so I will add those here.  I made them for SAS4Kids, I was thinking teenager cards;)

For these I used a new stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog called, For Peeps’ Sake.  The SU DSP is retired, Kaleidoscope.  I got it when it was in the Clearance Rack! 🙂  I used SU Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay as my background cardstock.

Please be sure to read my post about my May Blog Candy!

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I’m not sure what I’ll be posting yet, it will be a surprise for all of us;)
