One winner will receive ALL of this:

$25 Gift Certificate to the Fred She Said Store
$25 USD equivalent Gift Certificate to any online papercrafting store of winner’s choice 🙂

Wow, how awesome is that!?

Here is the info for my Blog Hop card, but keep scrolling, I have a second card! 🙂

For my card I used a retired Stampin’ Up! cardstock, Lavender Lace.  I don’t remember what year it’s from, but I just love all the retired purples!    The flowered  paper is from the Fred She Said paper pack, Summer’s Roses Digital Paper Set by Bearly Mine Designs.  Yep, I know, incredibly long name;)  The main image is, of course, Fred She Said’s,  Hearts & Roses Pre-Coloured Set. It also comes B & W for you to color yourself.  I love the pre-colored versions of Fred She Said images! 🙂

I imported the FSS image sheet into Print Shop and cropped out the image I wanted to use.  I added a circle shape and made it into an oval that would fit my Spellbinders Oval Dies. Just to make sure I was sizing everything the way I wanted.  I then deleted the oval.  Then I used the Print Shop text boxes to add my sentiment.  I tried using a rubber stamp, but I was getting frustrated!

The white decorative paper was made with Spellbinders Nestabilities, Decorative Labels Eight.  I had a terrible time cutting it out! 😦  Cardstock was too thick and paper was a little to thin, I think, because the lower left corner is a little mangled:(  I hid it well, did I not?  I did use wax paper, but if anyone out there has a tip on getting a good cut, I would be happy to have the info:)

I finished up with some retired Stampin’ Up! ribbon, Mellow Moss, and some misc. gems.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask:)

Winners will be selected on June 8th 2013 at 12:01 EST.

Fred She Said is also having a sale!

FSS-5th BDAY SALE

Now for my second card which will be entered in Freshly Made Sketches #88.

Half-fold Card1

For my card I used a retired Stampin’ Up! cardstock, Lovely Lilac.  I think it matches perfectly with the flowers Tracey has drawn!  The flower paper is from the Fred She Said paper pack,  BMD Petunia Parade Digital Papers Set.  Yep, I know, really long name, but not as long as the first paper pack;) lol  This digital paper set was designed by Donna of Bearly Mine Designs using graphics from the Wee HummingBird & Petunias which comes as outlines or  a Pre-coloured set ( not included).    This paper set includes 27  beautiful 6″x6″ papers ( JPG 133 ppi )

Which brings me to my digital image.  What else, a pre-colored digital image from Fred She Said,  Wee Hummingbird & Petunias Pre-coloured Set.  This card was much more simple to make, but I still love it!  I used my Print Shop program to print the image and paper on the same sheet of paper, photo project paper-matte from Target.  Both the image and paper were mounted on the Lovely Lilac cardstock.  I used an older punch from Martha Stewart, a couple misc. gems, and  a tiny Stampin’ Up! rubber stamp that someone gave me.

I hope I’m still making sense, it’s so late here, but my daughter kept texting me over and over, even though I told her I was busy:(  I honestly started my cards last weekend!  Busy, busy, busy!!!  Please feel free to let me know if I’ve made an error, or just plain confused you!

Thank you for coming by today! 🙂  Have a great weekend and be sure to follow the Blog Hop and check out the sale! 🙂

Freshly Made Sketches #81

“Baby” (almost 2) Lawrence took a nice nap today, and I stayed awake!  I really wanted to make two more cards!  Today’s cards are for the challenge Freshly Made Sketches #81.  I’d still like to try and get one more card done, or at least started tonight, so here is the sketch this week:

FMS Final 81-001I have two cards today, so be sure to scroll to the end:)  Here is my first card, you can click on it to make it larger:

Half-fold Card2Both the cards today will be going in the box for Send A Smile 4 Kids.  They also have a challenge blog with prizes! 🙂  Be sure to check them out! 🙂

Lots of Stampin’ Up! products used today on both cards, but both images are from Fred She Said.  This first image is from a set called Wee Hummingbird & Petunias.  There is a un-colored digi set and a pre-colored set.  You probably have already guessed that I used the pre-colored set;)  There are 7 different colors of flowers and also images of the flowers and birds separately.

I used Garden Green from  a Stampin’ Up! paper pack, and plain Daffodil Delight.  I also used glue from Stampin’ Up! and Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up my sentiment and main image.  The little yellow gems were in my stash of craft items.

Now for my second card, you can also click on it to make it larger:

Half-fold Card3Another beautiful pre-colored image from Fred She Said!  This image is from a set called Hummingbird & Columbine, you can get the images pre-colored or black and white to color yourself.  There are three different colors of flowers and also images of just flowers or just birds.

More Stampin’ Up! papers:)  The blue polka dots are from a paper pack of Bright colors, I also used Bashful Blue and Pacific Point.  The leaves on the left are from a Stampin’ Up! Little Leaves Sizzlits die.

Thanks for coming by today!

Freshly Made Sketches #80

Another busy week for me, and I’m still sick! 😦  I hope I can feel better and get into some kind of routine soon!

Today I have a card for the Freshly Made Sketches  #80.  They had another very simple sketch this week, that I had a lot of trouble with.  Here is their sketch:

FMS Final 80-001Here is my card:

Half-fold Card1Besides the Freshly Made Challenge, I will be putting this in my box to go to Send A Smile 4 Kids.  I have a link for them on my sidebar.  This is a wonderful cause to share handmade cards with children in several different USA hospitals.  Some of the cards go to children directly, and some go to the children so they can give them to their family members:)  Right now they are collecting cards for children to give for Mother’s day:)  Please take a few minutes and visit their blog where they have challenges and prizes! 🙂

Now, about my card…….I used all Stampin’ Up! products, except where noted.  First, I will talk about my pre-colored, digital image from Fred She Said.  This image is called, Emma The Skipper.  You can find it on this page, along with the un-colored version so you can color it yourself.  It comes with a few sentiments:)  Fred She Said also has a blog where you can find out about new products and contests with prizes! 🙂

I did use die cuts from Spellbinders, but the rest is all Stampin’ Up!  I used a new embossing folder called Cloudy Day, pretty cool, also a new stamp set called Bloomin’ Marvelous. I took the small flower out of the set and stamped it for the background by inking with Daffodil Delight and stamping off once on scrap paper.  I didn’t want it to be too bright;)  I used Daffodil Delight ribbon and a new ribbon slider.  I cut the sentiment by hand, and used Wild Wasabi behind the image and for the background.

I have to go post this before the deadline, so off I go…

Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I already have my next card made and hope to post it today or tomorrow:)

Freshly Made had another “easy” sketch this week.  Sometimes the easy ones are just as hard as the complicated ones, but this week I knew just what I wanted to do!  Here is this weeks sketch:
This card was pretty simple, I’m sure you could do it! 🙂  Here is the card I made, you can click on it to make it larger:
I used all Stampin’ Up! products except the center of the flower, and Tracey’s beautiful Poinsettia.  This flower is just gorgeous!  It doesn’t look to fancy when you pull up the file, but once you have it printed off, you can really see the beautiful colors.  Of course, its by Fred She Said and it’s called Pointy Poinsettia Flowers. If you scroll down a little in the store, you’ll find a cutfile version in B&W ready for you to color yourself! 🙂
Be sure to check out the rest of the Fred She Said links and look at what everyone else has made for you to see!  Also check out the Freshly Made blog!
Thanks for coming by today! 🙂  I hope you have a great weekend, and good luck on the Blog Hop!!! 🙂

Freshly Made #60

I just can’t stop making Christmas cards!  I have two more for you today:)  First I have a card for Freshly Made #60.  Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my card, clean and simple, you can click on it to make it larger:

The hardest part for me is always picking papers!  For this card it might seem obvious, but I actually tried a different green and rejected it.  I used Stampin’ Up! Garden Green and Elegant Eggplant:)  I used a Memory Box die for the snowflakes, with some gems for accents.

The main image is from Fred She Said simply called Christmas Wreath. It comes in several different colors and also B&W if you like to color yourself;)  That is pretty much it for  this one.  I told you, it would be clean and simple:)

If you have a printer, you can make a card today! 🙂 Here is my second card:

This is a really simple card as well:)  The main image is the same set as above, Christmas Wreath, by Fred She Said. The red paper is also Fred She Said, Christmas Papers 1-2009. These are digital images and papers, you can purchase them, download them and then print them out to make a card,  all in about an hour, start to finish! 🙂  Oh, I forgot, the wreath set comes with several sentiments:)

Fred She Said has a Blog Hop coming up next week!  You could win credits toward her store and get free images!!  If you sign up for the FSS newsletter, you will get updates on contests, new digital images and sometimes freebies!!  There are new images in the store right now, so go have a look! 🙂

Thanks for coming by today!  I’ll be back again soon! 🙂

Merry Monday #38

I have so many cards made for Christmas, it will be hard to decide who gets what!  That won’t stop me from making more! LOL

The card today I made for the challenge over at Merry Monday, this one is #38.  Here is their sketch for this week:

I flipped the sketch up and made this card, you can click on it to make it larger:

This is another awesome, cute, pre-colored digital image from Fred She Said! This super cute image is called Winter Westie.

Here are the details: –

includes BOTH the DIGI and Pre-Coloured versions.
-DIGI ( uncoloured ) is in JPG, PNG + printable sheet.  Digi also includes an alternate Wesite WITHOUT a scarf.
-Pre-coloured are in JPG and include 2 versions of scarf + printable SHEET.

Ok, I copied and printed that part, I didn’t want to get it wrong;)

I learned how to take a color from the image and make matching paper, that’s how I got the matching green.  The red snowflake paper is also FSS-Christmas Papers 2009.  I cut out the image with a Spellbinders circle die, and the snowflake trim is a die from Memory Box.  A touch of black cardstock and white cardstock for the card background and I was done:)

Very Simply Made;)  I hope you like it:)

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope to see you again soon! Don’t forget to stop by Merry Monday and look at all the beautiful cards!  Next week Fred She Said will be having another Blog Hop, be sure to stop back for prizes!

Freshly Made #58

This card has a brand new digital image from Fred She Said, it is so cute!  I made this card for the Freshly Made challenge #58. Here’s their sketch for this week:

Here’s the card I made, you can click on it to make it larger:

Okay, you have to click on this and see it larger!  It is so darn cute!  This is a new digital image from Fred She Said, and you’ll never guess what she called it…….Kiss Me Scottie!   The name is even cute! 🙂  The image comes pre-colored in black, white, and 2 different browns.  There is also an uncolored version included when you buy the set:)

The other supplies I used were black & white cardstock, an embossing folder from Sizzix, a circle die from Spellbinders and some strips of colored tape, that I didn’t use as tape.  A simple, fun card to make:)

Thanks for coming by today:)  I hope to have my Merry Monday card done next;)

Merry Monday #37

Well, here I am with another Merry Monday challenge card:)  It’s not actually Monday, it’s Friday, so that means I’m behind again!  This card is for M M #37.  First I’ll show you the sketch for this week:

I made two cards, I just had to;)  Here’s the first one, you can click on either card to make them larger:

This is an awesome, pre-colored digital image from Fred She Said!  I’ve used this image set a number of times, it’s called Christmas Poinsettia Lantern. The set is nice and big and includes the script paper, another lantern with red flowers, sentiments, B& W images, and several different formats!

I used my Stampin’ Up! Petals a Plenty embossing folder, also my Top Note die.  The ribbon is also SU, it’s Always Artichoke seam binding.  The cardstock I used is all Black and White.

Now for my second card:

If you’re thinking, wow, another pre-colored, Fred She Said digital image, you would be right! 🙂 lol  I do love my Fred She Said images! 🙂  This image is called Emma The Hugger – Snowman Edition.  This is one of Tracey’s “older” images, I still love it!  I actually use it quite often:) !  This set includes a B&W version, and a decoupage sheet (images that you cut out and layer).

I used another Stampin’ Up! embossing folder, but this one is retired:(  Stampin’ Up! cardstock, White, Garden Green, Real Red, and a retired Brilliant Blue. I am embarrassed to say I forget which FSS set I pulled the sentiment from:(  It’s either this set or the Lantern set.

For both cards I used my Spellbinders Oval dies.  On this card I used a snowflake punch from Martha Stewart.

I am up WAY too late!  Thanks for stopping by:)  I’ll be back very soon with some more cards, hope to see you then! 🙂

Freshly Made #54

I hope you’re ready, I have 3 different posts for you tonight!  The first one is Freshly Made #54. Here is the sketch for this week:

Here is my card, you can click on it to make it larger:

Nice and simple today:)  There will be no supply list today, I will tell you everything I used:)  First, my image is from Fred She Said, this image is called Raking.  This is Emma and Rosey, so cute!  The image also comes uncolored if you love to color;) I cut it out with Spellbinders-Lacey Ovals.

Everything else is Stampin’ Up!  I used as my floral background a paper from Spice Cake, it’s available in digital form from Stampin’ Up!  It prints up really nice on my photo project paper-matte, from Target:)  I used Soft Suede (brown), Daffodil Delight (yellow), and Pumpkin Pie (yep, orange).  I used some SU Bakers Twine-Early Espresso and white, and finally a Pumpkin Pie corduroy brad (retired).

Not too much to remember, it’s a simply made card;)

Thanks for coming by, I’m always glad to have company:)  Be sure to stop back for two more new posts!

Merry Monday #34

Wow, I’m actually ahead of myself this week!  I have my Merry Monday done on Tuesday! 🙂  How efficient is that?  Yeah, it won’t happen often. LOL  Here is this weeks sketch:

Here is my card, you can click on it to make it larger:

I LOVE BLUE!!  I also love Blue Jays:)  This is another new pre-colored digital image from Fred She Said!  Tracey has been busy, and I haven’t even used some of her new images:(  !  I had better get busy!  This set, Blue Jay, you can get in B&W, or pre-colored.

The pre-colored version has leaves for Summer, Fall, 4 different Spring flowers, and this Winter image, which actually has some green leaves, but I cropped them out.  Tracey, explained to me that she was thinking of an early snow with leaves still attached to the leaves:)

The blue background paper is also Fred She Said, FSS – Christmas Papers 1 – 2009.  This set has two different blues, but I liked this one:)

I used Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped Circle dies for the main image.  I used some black ribbon, and some sparkle from my stash.  It went together very quick and simple, but still pretty, I think;)

Fred She Said is having another Blog Hop this coming Friday, Sept. 28th.  I hope you’ll stop by for more new cards and a chance to win prizes! 🙂

For anyone who leaves a comment today, I will have a random drawing for this card!  I will collect comments until Friday, Sept. 28th.  Just a little thank you for those of you who have been stopping by;)

Thank you for viewing my cards, I read and appreciate all comments! 🙂
