Wow, another long title, sorry, I couldn’t resist! 🙂 There is a lot to cover, so lets get to it! 🙂
I did draw the Blog Candy winners! Anyone who know my Lawrence, knows he’s very generous! 🙂 Yep, he didn’t want to stop at 4 winners, he wanted to draw 6! So I’ve been searching through my boxes (yes, still living out of boxes) for some extra Blog Candy;) I was successful in my search, so I’ll post the winning names, and you will all have to look at my new list of prizes:) But first, I have a card I made with my May Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin set! 🙂
So, this is the sample of what you can do with your May Stampin’ Up! Paper Pumpkin kit. You can go on Pinterest and find a lot more samples, that’s what I did;)
And this is one of the cards I made:
The whole center portion I CASED from Patricia Allison, I found her card here on Pinterest. I believe you need an account to see it, but signing up is free:) Anyway….I cut the card base (supplied) in half and embossed the back (dark blue) with the stars embossing folder from Stampin’ Up! Because the inside of the card base is white, I was able to sand off some of the stars and get it to look white in places. I then mounted the whole thing on a white card base.
The central portion is almost all supplied in the kit! The striped paper is the front of the card base. The blue spotted paper is from one of the supplied gift bags, it has the balloon shaped cutout already done for you. The yellow did come from a separate Designer Series Paper pack, but you could use the yellow tissue paper that’s supplied. I cut the star out with a separate Stampin’ Up! punch, not included, also not included is the gem in the center of the star.  The Celebrate stamp is included, and I just stamped it on a white scrap and cut the ends with scissors.
Pinterest has a bunch of different samples, and I want to try a bunch of them! 🙂 This card will be going into a box for Send A Smile 4 Kids! 🙂 You can also visit their blog challenge here🙂
Okay, now for the Winners of the Blog Candy, in no special order:
Angie Seyer
Karen Peterson
Vicki Luebke
Holly Scheibe
Bev Schoepke
Holly Blaskie
I need all of these ladies to please email me with your choices A-G, numbered in your preference from one to 7. That means one will be left over for next time;) Please email me at bspruce2000@yahoo.com
Now, just for fun, are some photos of Lawrence picking names from an Easter bucket! 🙂
This is Lawrence helping with a digger, also named a hair clip;)
He is so helpful! lol Yes, it’s upside down! 😉 The rest of the names were pretty much the same;) lol The first draw was everyone who commented, the second was everyone who sent in cards, and the rest of the draws were people who commented and sent cards:)
Here is my final list of prizes:
A-From Stampin’ Up, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. I love this folder! 🙂
B-From Stampin’ Up, Tagtastic, cling mount stamp set.
Samples were part of the catalog display, not included.
C-From Stampin’ Up, You Brighten My Day, cling mount stamp set.
D- From me, die cut outs.
I cut these out myself and took a photo, all are included. I have cats in black, top center and white so you can color yourself. Kittens, in white, below the cats, and black. I have puppies, in Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip and white. There are two guitars one in silver and one in black. Bottom left is a boy on a sled in black. I love all of these cut outs, so I thought someone else might like them too:)
The last three items were purchased by me, but are brand new, and never used. I was saving them for a future Blog Candy, but Lawrence feels very generous and he is so darn cute, how could I say no?! lol
E-simply sent-Happy Hello
This is a kit from Stampin’ Up! like the Paper Pumpkin, only simpler. There are no stamps or ink, just card bases, embellishments and envelopes.
F-Stampin’ Up! Extreme Surfboard
This is a single wood mount stamp, great for guy cards:)
G-Stampin’ Up! Lotus Blossom
This is a clear stamp set. You need to have your own acrylic stamp blocks.
As an example-you could send me a list like:Â G-1, A-2, D-3 etc
You will only get one prize, I will do my best to match you with what you like, but I will have Lawrence draw again to see what you win:) Yay, winners! I hope you’ll enjoy your final prize!! 🙂
Thank you all for coming by, even if you didn’t win. I plan on having another drawing for Blog Candy in the Fall, probably Octoberish:) I hope to see you again soon:)
