Friday Mashup Challenge #72

I’ve started making more “Fall” cards, but I wanted to show you this pretty, Spring-like card in Stamin’ Up! Subtle colors:)  This card is for the Friday Mashup Challenge #72.

So here is the “Mashup” Challenge:

  1. Make a project with “the Sketch”.
  2. Or Make a project w/ a “flower or multiple flowers”.
  3. Or “Mash it Up” and create a project w/ “the Sketch and a flower or multiple flowers”.

I didn’t use the sketch this week, I haven’t included it here, so not to confuse anyone;) Here’s my card, you can click on it to make it larger:

I got the idea for this card by watching the video for Triple Time Stamping.  You’ve probably heard me say before, I don’t color well, so I like to use pre colored digital images.  This image is from Fred She Said, and it’s from a set called Daisies & Ladybugs.  Of course, I did it differently than the video;)  You can find my instructions here.

I cut it out per the instructions above, and layered it with Stampin’ Up! Baja Breeze, and So Saffron.  I love the way it came out, nice and soft:) I used part of a stamp from Stampin’ Up! Swirls & Curls Verses.  It has a little bird on it, but I  used my Basic Black SU marker, and only colored the wording.  The bird wasn’t going to fit my shape

Thanks for stopping by today:)  I’ll be back soon, I have at least 2 more sketches waiting for me on my work desk;)  Have a great week! 🙂
