Two different cards and challenges

This first card is for the Come and Get it Challenge, please scroll down for the Merry Monday Challenge🙂

The Come and Get it Challenge is a color challenge.  The colors are, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Pool Party by Stampin’ Up!.  The Challenge is sponsored by Fred She Said. Here’s my card:

The image is pre-colored by Fred She Said, I did NOT color the image myself! It’s called Bearded Iris, and comes in 9 colors:)  I used Stampin’ Up!’s  individual stamp, En Francais for the background image.  All paper is by Stampin’ Up!  The sentiment can from a retired Hostess set called Happiest Birthday Wishes. It actually says “happy birthday dear you!”.  I only inked up the first part.  It was a tight fit into one of the new Framelits-Bitty Banners. I cut the shape first and then used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the stamp where I wanted it. All supplies will be listed below.  This was a fun challenge, I don’t think I would have put these colors together myself;)

Next up is the Merry Monday challenge over at Always Playing with Paper. Their challenge for the month of July, is to use whatever past sketches we would like.

Last week I did the sketch from week 2.  This week I am doing the sketch from the very first week.  Those are the only two I missed so I am all caught up:)  Here is the very first sketch for Merry Monday 2012:

Here’s the card I made, you can click on any of my images to make them larger:

This was a fun card:)  I bought this stamp set from Stampin’ Up! a few years ago.  It’s called Frosty (retired). I just can’t sell it, I love the happy snowman!  The paper is all Stampin’ Up!  I used some small beads I found in my stash, and 3 generic gems.  For a simple card, I used a ton of different products, all listed below in my supply list:)

I hope you enjoyed both my cards today:)  Don’t be afraid of the supply list, you can use whatever you have to make  similar cards.  I don’t really do too many complicated cards, as a matter of fact, I try not to make any complicated cards;)  lol

Thanks for stopping in today:)  Have a great week!
